SiteZone was founded by Nigel Adams and Gary Escott in 2011. They collectively have over 60 years of experience designing and supplying safety products.

These years of experience go into everything we do. We never stand still and take our duty of care for the safety of our customers very seriously. As a result, we’ve continued to develop the product every year since launching.

But how do we decide what to develop? It’s always from the needs of you, our customers.

2011

First deployment of Tag-based Proximity Warning on Major Civil Engineering project (M25 Upgrade).

2012

SiteZone brand registered.

2014

Introduced limiting technology to mask detection of tags in safe areas or vehicles.

2014

BucketZone developed for creating a second zone around the bucket/grab. 

2016

Launch of Oversite telematics data platform to change behaviours on site.

2017

Dumper Advance developed to get best zone coverage on forward tipping dumpers.

2018

Walkway limiting introduced to stop tags being detected in segregated areas.

2020

SmartBubble, a patent-pending product, bought to market. When the machine is in a safe state, SmartBubble automatically reduces the exclusion zone to a second predefined “safe zone”.

2020

Launch of the personnel distancing system, in response to Covid-19 to support social distancing 

2021

New division created for Onboard weighing products. 

2022

SiteZone BI created - an upgrade to our data platform built in Microsoft Power BI for simplicity and ease of use.

2023

RCV Smart Loader developed with FCC Environment - reducing the risk to operatives using bin lifts in automatic mode.

2024

SiteZone iNstant and QuickFit portable proximity warning systems launched for temporary or hire plant.

2025

Smart Site suite of products launched. Includes activated signage, traffic lights, gated access, and weighbridge alert.
